Danielle Good
Danielle Good is a New York based musician and the author, lyricist, composer, director and producer of Okay Cupid the musical. Following completion of graduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music, Danielle received a fellowship at the International House allowing her to devote her time to the creation of Okay Cupid. Scenes of her evolving musical were performed in venues throughout Manhattan and launched into a full production preview, where Danielle proudly performed the role of Whitney alongside five professional singers and a seven-piece ensemble. After the performance, she was featured in Outside the Practice Room, an online musician blog affiliated with Manhattan School of Music.
Her theatrical credits include her performance of Moon Flower from the Off Off Broadway play Scent of the Moonflower, and Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime at Manhattan School of Music. On the operatic stage, Danielle performed Orlofsky, Die Fledermaus; Cherubino, Le Nozze di Figaro; and Goddess Fortuna, L'incoronazione di Poppea at Catholic University of America. She holds a Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music and a Bachelor of Music from Catholic University of America. Rebecca Leshures
Rebecca Leshures is an accomplished pianist and composer based in New York City. This past year she immersed herself in the creation of the new musical, Okay Cupid, with fellow composer and lyricist Danielle Good. This project evolved through performances of selected excerpts in venues around Manhattan and launched into a full production preview, where Miss Leshures proudly performed as pianist with a seven-piece ensemble. She was interviewed and featured in Outside the Practice Room, an online musician blog affiliated with Manhattan School of Music created by Jonathan Koe. She eagerly anticipates future performances of Okay Cupid.
Miss Leshures holds an ARCT Performer's Certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music, a BM in Piano from Westminster Choir College, and an MM in Piano Performance from Manhattan School of Music. She has performed as soloist and collaborative pianist in Italy and throughout the USA and Canada. An avid pedagogue, Miss Leshures is a faculty member of Bergen Academy of Music and Art. She has been a faculty member at Westminster Choir College's Summer Programs and was a staff pianist for Manhattan School of Music's Precollege Division from 2012-2013.
